2. I took this on the bus when we were arriving in Gyeongju. :)

3. Near bulguksa temple… I think it’s near the buddha that was nearby. seokguram grotto?

Our last day in Gyeongju we tried to go to this underwater tomb, but we didn’t have time and the buses weren’t running very frequently due to some marathon. Instead we took a taxi to Bulguksa temple (I went there last time too) and then hiked over to the Seokguram Grotto. I have to be honest, it was kind of hard for me to hike when i had all of my stuff in my backpack and not enough water. At least it wasn’t too hot. I didn’t get alot of sleep the night before, so it was even more tiring. In the end it was a nice experience and the scenery was really beautiful.

After going to Bulguksa, we ate at this place somewhere near Anapji pond, bought some 찰보리빵 which kind of looked like a Japanese pastry I’ve seen before and then went to the bus that took us back to Seoul.

Hello, this is Christina. I am using this blog to chronicle my study abroad experiences at Yonsei University in Seoul, South Korea and the days approaching it. I will be an exchange student for Autumn semester 2011 and I hope to learn a lot while I'm there!
